I'v used coolstuffinc for 7 years now (wow, that makes me feel a bit old), and I have got to saysay that it is one of the easiest to use if you know what your after. I put decks together on essential magic export in a txt file, then copy paste into the collstuff deck builder, it spits out a page with every version of every card on the list, I enter in how much of which and it fills my cart. It takes a grand total of like 4 minutes from the EM export till checkout, and with customer incentives(currently at 10% as well), and the frequent 4for1s it rings out fairly close to what I would have paid elsewhere, and usually I would have to shop multiple sites to get a better price on the total order, and then I am paying through the nose on shipping. Without the customer incentive it be a different story, but I paid more than I probably should have a while back, and I can't undo that now, so I may as well enjoy. I could spit out some trite old line about building a relationship with a merchant, but that is not the time we are living in, especially over the internet. Still the incentive program atleast makes me feel like I am mre than a revenue stream, and that's got to be worth something. And like many big magic dealers it is a horrible place to just browse, if you want to do that I would instead reccomend essential magic, they don't sell cards, but atleast give you a decent ballpark, and have a fantastic advanced search.

I'm quite happy that this new Jace is not as insane as The Mind Sculptor. Let's just hope we get a nice promo sooner than later because this art is ugly as hell :)

I missed the Scars of Mirrodin prerelease around here so I'm glad you were able to make it. Now that the format is settling down it is cool to see what is working. You should have played POISON!

I think this card is worth more than face value. It was a one-time printing error, and that being said this misprint is very rare indeed. I'd definitely hold on to it.

This perspective is interesting to me given that one of the biggest complaints about Magic right now is the issue of power creep. I do think they are trying to figure out how to make the core sets enjoyable for older players but accessible to new players. I think the issue is that the whole concept of a core set is a bit outdated now that they have a relatively consistent block and set release schedule, so now they're creating this sort of hybrid core/expansion set and releasing it yearly as the core set. I'd almost rather they just did one extra standalone set every year instead. Maybe that is sort of what they're moving towards? The fact that it rotates every year is pretty annoying to me.

You forgot cantrip. Card drawing is probably more important that bounce. Although only one of the three of those cards can bounce. The creatures are more lock down than anything.

I think I was third out of four. There was a really awesome red/black deck that won out right and I lost an equal battle game two and pulled out a win in the third match.

I think blue mages get a bad rap - at least...the ones who don't rely on control, countering, and bounce...wait...isn't that all blue is anymore? so how did you do the on draft record-wise?
